  • Rube Goldberg Machine - Adelaide Shows

    Tuesday to Friday March 11 - 14 | Alley Cat Rhino Room | 8:15pm

A Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine created with the intent of making simple tasks harder. Lena Moon is one of those, despite her best efforts.

Come spend an hour with Lena in her solo comedy show debut as she packs her colourful life stories full of jokes and explores humanity's, and her own, affinity to make simple things harder for themselves.

If you don't know Lena from her shows with Something Good Improv weekly Wednesdays at Comedy Republic, you might know her from Twitch, caught one of her shows with her duo Annie and Lena, seen some of her funny writing on the TV (Good Game Spawn Point, Thank God You're Here, Starship Q Star) or even caught her being silly on screen (The Emu War, The Organist, Aunty Donna's Coffee Cafe, Most Upsetting Guessing Game).

    Directed by Emma Holland

  • Rube Goldberg Machine - Melbourne Shows

    Wednesday to Sunday March 26 - April 6 | Theory Bar | 5:45pm / 4:45pm Sundays

  • Trying Times

    Wednesday Jan 15th | Motley Bauhaus | 8:00pm
Mish Wittrup, Lena Moon, Nicolette Minster and a SPECIAL GUEST have a mid week muck around with their new jokes, best intentions and just a smattering of shortcomings.

  • Something Good - Improv Comedy

    Weeky Wednesdays | Comedy Republic | 8:00pm

Something Good is Melbourne's best improv show, starring cast and crew from Ch 10’s television improv juggernaut 'Thank God You’re Here' Ben Russell, Amy Ruffle, Lena Moon and Alistair Baldwin.

It’s long form improv at its finest, with famous faces dropping by each week for a completely improvised and always chaotic performance.

Based off audience suggestion, Something Good makes up a show that is something great and something that will never be seen again. Past guests include Tony Martin, Adam Hills, Virginia Gay and Broden Kelly.

Extended ensemble features Pedro Cooray, Tiana Hogben, Taylor Griffiths, Millie Holten, Tim Hewitt, Kyran Nicholson, Josh Chodziesner and Barney Pollock.

IMPROV & COMEDY

Lena has been improvising for ten years. She loves to perform, and has been involved with a few projects that also utilize these talents including the animated series Toonprov, and Aunty Donna's Most Upsetting Guessing Game where Lena appears in a few episodes and consequently ruins them beyond comprehension.

Toonprov | YouTube

Introducing Toonprov, a new concept from Lucas Cappy and Adam Bigum. We take a couple of expert improv comedians, give them a famous character to play from pop culture and then surprise them with a random prompt for them to improvise a scene together.

We then go away and animate that scene and the result is Toonprov. Our first season follows a 30-something serial-dater named Claudia (played by Lena Moon) who dates a different famous character each episode. We meet her at the very end of her relationship with Batman before she moves onto characters: James Bond, Ariel, Pikachu and Godzilla.

The Most Upsetting Guessing Game | YouTube

The 'Most Upsetting Guessing Game' is a comedy/improv guessing game based on 'Party Quirks' from the Aunty Donna Podcast.

Each week a 'party host' is selected and tasked with guessing what 'characters' are attending their party. Sounds simple enough right?

It's not... it's cooked.

Watch some of Australia's finest comedians descend into madness...
